This eatery is making waves in the food scene, offering a delightful mix of flavors that keep patrons returning. Known for its friendly service and late-night offerings, New Brandiz has garnered a loyal following despite its surroundings.
Customer reviews shine a spotlight on the standout dishes you'll find here. From savory cheese pizza praised as the "best ever" by Bryan Morris, to their rich and flavorful milkshakes that many declare unbeatable in Vancouver, there's something for everyone. With an impressive array of 16 to 20 ice cream flavors, you can craft your own creamy concoction, as Tem enthusiastically highlights. The combination of strawberry, vanilla, and mango creates a milkshake that is nothing short of divine.
But it's not just about the milkshakes. The multitude of pies available, including a delicious strawberry rhubarb option, adds to the charm of this quaint fast food spot. Jaeger Mah and others rave about the affordability of their meals, proving that quality doesn’t have to come at a high price. The welcoming atmosphere, thanks to a dedicated staff, ensures that each visit feels personal, as noted by Ian Simmons, who appreciates how they treat all customers with respect.
One point to note, however, is the restaurant's operating hours. Despite the occasional inconsistency in timings, loyal patrons agree that the fabulous food and inviting service make it worth the slight inconvenience. The ambiance may not be cozy like a traditional dining spot, but that’s part of its unique charm. For those adventurous enough to visit, the experience is sure to be memorable.
In conclusion, New Brandiz Fast Food represents a perfect blend of delicious food, reasonable prices, and stellar customer interaction. Whether you're craving a classic pizza, a rich pie, or the ultimate milkshake, this establishment is a must-visit if you find yourself in the area. Embrace the local vibe, and make sure to stop by—your taste buds will thank you.
“ Located in the heart of Hastings. Drug Dealers and addicts all around.. BUT.. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Great customer service, tasty late night food, lots of pies, cheap prices. It's weird, but perfect. ”
“ Love their milkshakes and pizza - other foods are high quality in deliciousness as well. Each time I bring someone here, they comment how delicious it is and how much of a hidden gem they are. Hidden gem indeed, I recommend giving New Brandiz a try regardless of how you feel about the neighborhood. The only con I can think of is how inconsistent they can be with their hours. Even the listed hours on here seem to be wrong & not updated in a while. It sucks but to be expected due to how few workers they have hired. In all, a very small price to pay for their fabulous foods & drinks. :) ”
“ They have the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had, and I love the strawberry rhubarb pie. Also, they have many flavours of ice cream and their milkshakes are awesome. Prices are really reasonable; service is friendly, but it couldn’t be in a worse part of town which is too bad. ”
“ They treat the community they are located in like gold and respect the people doesn't matter the nationality you get treated equal excellent ”
“ Summary: Yes, this is the best milkshake in town. Red Robin and White Spot do not stand a chance. Maybe Fatburger could stand up to them, but I haven't tried theirs before. Review: Someone on Reddit said that this is where you go to get the best milkshake in town. I was rather skeptical that some little corner store in the heart of the Downtown Eastside could hold that title, so I decided to try it for myself. The milkshake costs 6 (compared to Red Robin milkshakes which go for 7). It consists of 3 scoops of ice cream, an unknown white liquid that is probably cream, and maybe other ingredients that I didn't notice. There are about 16-20 ice cream flavours and you can pick up to 3 of them. They make the milkshakes in front of you for your viewing pleasure. I personally had the Strawberry Vanilla Mango milkshake and it was simply DIVINE. The thickness was perfect and it was very smooth and creamy. I would 100% recommend this if you're in the area and looking for a milkshake, however I don't think it is worth going on a journey to visit unless you're some sort of adventurer. The location and ambience is certainly not the best, but you'd likely be a fool to think that a place in the DTES smackdab on Hastings is a place that you'd go to for a comfy atmosphere. However, the owner and the employees are pleasant and friendly folk. I walked into a "Hi, how are you, my friend?" once I entered. Great attitude! I overheard some chatter and apparently they've been around for about 20 years now. Definitely worth a visit if you're a curious milkshake connoisseur. ”
“ I honestly love this place and have been going semi-regularly for about a year and a half. It's the only place I'll get milkshakes now! They have a TON of different ice cream flavours (including some cool ones like root beer float), so the milkshake combos are endless. Also LOVE their cheese pizza which has white sauce and sesame seeds on the crust. Grilled cheese is a good deal at 5 for two. The night staff are super kind but worth mentioning that most of their clientele are DTES residents ”
“ Fast, kind service , good food and low prices make this the place to go! New Brandiz Fast Food helps a lot of hungry people with low income be able to have a nice meal that fills them up way more than the same amount of money would elsewhere. I recommend coming hear no mater if you just want a quick bite or a large meal. There will definitely be something to catch your eye! ”
“ Very good food and ice cream my favorite is blacksherry and strawberry banana And pizza absolutely amazing and my favorite cheese and beef meat and for dessert the chocolate cheesecake is my addiction Thanks for all the workers they are amazing people ”
